Gliders Goals
Students will understand and be able to apply the four forces of flight (lift, drag, thrust, gravity) to gliders.
Students will understand how the design and construction of their glider fits into the engineering design process.
Students will be able to read and interpret their own and class data represented in graphs and tables.
Students will analyze the data and make a meaningful connection between the results of the data and how they should construct their second glider to maximize their glider's performance.
Students will understand Bernoulli's Principle.
Students will present their work in a clear and organized manner, using appropriate vocabulary.
Students will work successfully with a partner.
