Velocity Experiment- Pierre Fermat
Hypothesis
On the wooden track, I think the marble will go the fastest almost at the bottom of the first hill. I think this because the ball is speeding up because it is going down the hill.
Materials and Methods
1. Mini Wooden Roller Coaster
2. Giant Triangle
3. Really High Pole
4. Four Marbles
5. Photo Gates
These are numbers we put the you should call them clamps not trackers trakers on. 5 to 10, 40 to 50, 80 to 90, 120 to 125, 60 to 65, and 20 to 30. Thats where our group put the trakers on to see how fast it would go.
Data Table (Results)
The ball ended up going really fast at the bottom of the hill. I think this because thats when it goes fast when it goes down because all the gravity is pushing down. Great thought! Wow Chris!

Discussion
What we are doing is using a 2 hill wooden roller coaster. We wanted to see how fast it would go per number. It goes Fast at the bottom of both the hills. We used a marble for this experiment. Where is highest velocity? Where is highest KE? WHere is highest PE? How are these connected to each other?
INCLUDE A DIAGRAM (Draw it on Microsoft Paint) that shows where highest/lowest KE/PE are).
